Ridgeview Park has 82 cottages, some over a hundred years old. With love, sweat equity and money cottage owners have maintained and improved their cottages through generations. Few floors are level, nothing is square, windows and doors do the best they can to operate.
Why do we do it? For the love of a simpler, peaceful community. The joy of sitting on the porch and chatting with neighbors, sharing pot luck meals or praying together on Sunday morning.
Did I mention "PAINT". These charming cottages are for the most part wood and need be be painted. We could just paint them all white or some pastel color but where is the fun in that. The beauty of these cottages is the individual and personal color selections. Enjoy the RVP painted ladies.
Gingerbread trim adorns many of the older cottages adding to their timeless charm.
Cottage Porches hold a special place in the hearts of cottage owners.
